Antioch Church of
Christ is a community of Christians patterned after the New Testament ideals
taught by Jesus and His Apostles. We are not the only Christians, but we strive
to be Christians only and wear only the name of Christ.
Our name,
Antioch,
comes from an exemplary church told about in the book of Acts. Antioch was a
church that had a missionary spirit and a church that brought all kinds of
people together under the name of Jesus Christ. We long to be such a church,
where anyone can feel welcomed and where we take our mission very seriously to
take the Love of God to the Lost.
As you look over Our
Purpose and Our Core Values, we hope you will be inspired to become part of our
community!

Our Core Values
- Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation from sin and its punishment.
Jesus alone brings New Life to those who entrust their lives to Him.
Acts 4:12
- The Bible is the authoritative basis for what we believe and do.
Its message must be brought to every generation in a relevant, understandable
way. Hebrews 4:12
- Jesus’ Great Commandments to love God and our "neighbors" are central to
our walk as Christians. Everything we do should flow out
of our love for God and the people that He loves.
Mark 12:30-31
- Jesus’ Great Commission to make disciples of all nations and
baptize them is our primary mission.
There is no greater purpose than helping the Lost become fully devoted
followers of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:18-20
- We come together every week to worship God and share our new life in
Christ.
Celebrating the Lord’s Supper together builds community as the Body of Christ
and renews our life in Him.
Hebrews 10:19-25
- Every Christian is a servant/minister of God, and every pastor is an
equipping minister.
We each must discover and use our God-given abilities to serve God by serving
the people around us. I Corinthians 12:4-11 I
Peter 4:10-11
- Small groups are the place where believers grow together and share each
other’s joys and sorrows.
Face-to-face encouragement and accountability are fundamental to our continued
growth in Christ. Acts 2:46 Acts 20:20 Romans
12:9-16
- Prayer is key to discovering God’s will and unleashing His power, and it
is the beginning of God’s work.
People empowered by God’s Spirit can turn their world upside down for Christ!
Ephesians 6:18-20 Colossians 4:2-4
- God’s Word can transform our daily lives, equip us for every good work,
and prepare us for eternity.
We need to hear, read, study and apply the truths of Scripture
to know and do God’s will. II Timothy
